Singer/songwriter CHANCE PANEER is a native New Orleanian who has spent over 20 years plying his trade as a songwriter, a producer and performer. We are honored to welcome at our charity. Heartfelt voice makes you smile, refreshing and comfortable.

Torben Asp has been performing live concerts in SL since 2007. He composes and arranges his own original music with a lot of inputs from the different genres in his compositions. He wants to create pictures and sets you in a certain mood instead of being the next superstar and he likes to call it Recreative Music.

His performance by synthesizer music and by particle shower is more than just a show, the experience.

Kaminari mai, Zagashira (head of Kabuki dance group), presents you the traditional Japanese art dance of Kabuki.
Ninin Dojoji, the best known and most enduring kabuki version of Musume Dojoji, tells of how two beautiful women appear at the Dojoji temple and charm their way into the compound when a ceremony to consecrate a new bell is set to begin. Furious at their past failures at love, the two combine and become a ferocios dragon that destroys the bell.

All of you understand music and art are the common languages to help us communicate each other. We are very honored to invite Feathers Boa, one of the most distinguished artists in SL, to our “Ring of Second Life”. Her art gallery, prepared exclusively for our event, could have great contribution to the benefit for Haiti. Her “reactive art” will surely touch your sense of art. The exhibit starts from early April to May 3 in Hoshi Island. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Innertube racing requires a 100L or more donation payable to the Virtual Haiti Relief kiosk at the time of the race and there will be a prize awarded to the 1st to touch the Molaskey’s Pub beach stage. Arrive early and familiarize yourself with the course. Concerts will begin at 5:00 pm slt at the beach stage (finish line) so stay and enjoy that.

Meet organizations working in Haiti Relief: Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti (IJDH), Ushahidi collaborative mapping tools and representatives from many organizations within the Nonprofit Commons. This is a special edition of our regular Friday morning meeting open to the public at Plush Nonprofit Commons amphitheatre. Join us all weekend for the Haiti Benefit Festival starting at this speaking discussion event.

The Nonprofit Commons hosts over 100 organizations from around the world including vital NGOs helping in Haiti. We will be talking to friends who are working to provide relief on the ground, including Riversong Garden of Partners for Others who is coordinating container shipments into Haiti. Speakers with experience in providing crisis relief services are especially welcome to join this conversation & presentation at our Friday morning Nonprofit meeting.
